Walking into the room, I could have mistaken the chatting as a foreign language. Eighteen programmers also joined us in Manila. English is the trade language of computer programming even if the average lay person wouldn’t recognize the lingo. We called this meeting a Hackathon.
We are trusting God for 10 million multiplying disciples by 2020. To track the progress toward the goal, we wanted to ensure that we have the right systems in place. The programmers put their heads together and in less than two weeks integrated many existing systems into a single data warehouse.
It was exciting to watch the programmers from different countries and languages unite. Guided by the Holy Spirit, they developed a great system!
